“The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man...” - Genesis 39:2 (NKJV)
Success is often greatly misunderstood, so I want to redefine the true meaning of true success. From today’s verse, it is clear that success is not what you have, but rather, who you have.
Joseph literally had nothing materially, but at the same time, he had everything because the Lord was with him. So what was Joseph doing right?
For God’s favour to rest upon you, you need a specific ingredient that Joseph had. This very key which he tapped into was the fuel for God’s favour to be ignited upon his life.
What might that be? Quite simply – He had the presence of the Lord with him, wherever he went! Another verse later in the same chapter says,“The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph’s authority, because the Lord was with him; and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper.” Genesis 39:23 (NKJV)
God literally caused whatever Joseph touched to prosper. Why? Because the Lord was with him!
God, I know that you are with me. I notify the kingdom of darkness and every spirit of delay that their influence over my success and my prosperity has come to an end. Today, my story begins to change! In Jesus Name, Amen!
