Maintain a CLOSE relationship with your spiritual father. Do not abandon him simply because you perceive others or yourself as more successful. His role as your father is not defined by the size of his ministry, fame, or achievements, but by God's PURPOSE in your life. It is entirely natural and desirable for spiritual sons to surpass their fathers in success, SIZE and ANOINTING. This should be the natural order!

Regrettably, some forsake the very fathers who recognized their potential and nurtured their growth, in favor of aligning with those who SEEM more prominent, believing this will enhance their own success. However, this often leads to a DISCONNECTION , as they do not share the same spiritual heritage or DNA as the new figure they are trying to emulate and it begins to pollute their stream and the UNCTION and MANTLE SLOWLY lifts.

REMAIN with your spiritual father, PROVIDED he CONTINUES to walk with Christ, even if he seems insignificant in the eyes of OTHERS. Aligning yourself with a renowned and powerful minister DOES NOT guarantee that you will share in their success. Also if you have been fathered, and your father has passed on, or you have been matured and your father is no longer imitating Christ, then don’t go run looking for other fathers! Fulfill your call!
