The Supernatural Power behind a Partnership

This blog article is not one of my usual pieces.

Should you take what you're about to read thoughtfully, you will unlock the one key that I have used in my life. This key has blessed my family, my ministry, my life and my relationships in unimaginable ways.

You see, I treat the living word of God as my umpire, my guidance, my ultimate source of knowledge and wisdom. Should you choose to do the same, you will find that God uses accidents to bless you more than what you could physically work to achieve.

Put aside every skill, degree, experience and qualifications or even the anointing you might have. None of those successes compares to the 'gifts' that the Bible speaks of in Proverbs 18:16

“A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.” – Proverbs 18:16 KJV

Please read that scripture again.

Here its speaks of a man's gifts, we know that the gifts the Bible speaks of here are gifts given by God. So if gifts are given by God, then there is no qualification on earth that will bring you before great men like God's gifts will.

You need to understand something here, and I don't want you to miss this.

The Hebrew word for 'gift' translates in Proverbs 18:16 to 'present'. That means it is not talking about qualifications or the anointing but a gift that one person gives to another.

Look at Proverbs 18:16 in the NIV

“A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.”

How powerful is that?

A gift opens the way. Are you getting this?

I believe that this scripture describes the importance of entering into a partnership with a ministry.

If you've gotten this far, then you're halfway to understanding the real secret to a fruitful life in partnership and blessing like no physical labour can offer you. Let's take a look at 1 Kings 10.

You can open your Bible and reference to what I am going to share with you. The wisest man on the planet of the earth, according to the Bible was Solomon. He asked God for something that most overlook, he asked, God for wisdom, to be a good king, and because of that unselfish act, God gave him not only what was asked for but also what he never asked for. The Bible says that he was so rich in abundance that everything he had was of gold.

I want you to look around you right now, wherever you are. Imagine every material thing you can see made by man was of gold. That was his life.

In 1 Kings 10: 1-3 the Bibles says, “And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions. And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart. And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not any thing hid from the king, which he told her not.”
His fame went before him into all of the world, that kings all over sought him out, 1 Kings 10:24.

I want you to notice something here; all the kings sought him out, for one thing, one quality…wisdom.

Why was Queen Sheba recognised but all the other kings were just known as "kings", remember his name was known to ALL KINGS?

Here’s why…

Queen Sheba visited King Solomon bearing 'gifts', 120 talents of gold to be exact, which is today worth around $44,000,000. That does not include all the spices, precious stones and abundance that had not been seen before.

So I ask you again, why was she recognised, was it her qualifications, title, skill, or anointing?

I think you understand where I am going with this, but read here; this will forever change your view.

Queen Sheba received everything she desired and more. 1 Kings 10:13

Notice that King Solomon didn’t need her gifts; she gave equivalent to around one-tenth of his yearly earnings. So when the king gave of his royal bounty in 1 Kings 10:13, don’t you think she left his presence with more than she gave him?

I'm sure she passed the poor on her way to visit King Solomon. I'm sure she wanted to take from her gift to give to them. It took hundreds of camels to carry those gifts, and her journey passed many in need. So do you think what she did was selfish? She gave to a man that does not need her gifts instead of the poor.

Queen Sheba understood Proverbs 18:16, an essential principle in ministry today. She desired wisdom ad she knew how to get it.

You see, when you partner financially with a ministry, it's not only what they need, but what you need too!

Imagine what a blessing she would have been to the poor leaving King Solomon with more riches than on her journey to him.

When you give into a ministry, you not only give to see others being touched but also start seeing a supernatural increase in your finances. When you take it a step further and partner with that ministry, you now gain the right to become a partaker of the anointing you honor. The Bible tells us to desire spiritual gifts.

Become a person like Queen Sheba, who decided to be recognised by the world's most famous king. I am a firm believer that when you take care of God's house, he takes care of yours.
