“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;” Philippians 4:6 (NKJV)

If you’re being faced with anxiety, stress or worry — the solution is outlined in this scripture.

Many people have faith in God for certain things — perhaps they have faith for their daily bread, or they have faith for their protection on the roads, or they have faith for their loved ones to be saved. But the majority of believers don’t have faith in all things, and as a result, they submit themselves to the pressures of life, and anxiety is the result.

But this scripture says that in everything — not in some things — we are to give thanks to God! Not being anxious for anything — we should rather break out in praise, thanking God for that which He has already done and for that which He has promised to do. If you’re sick, thank Him for what He did on the cross and that you’re already saved. If you’re unable to pay your bills, thank God that He is your provider. If you’ve been retrenched or your business has dried up, thank Him for open doors. If you’re struggling with depression, thank Him that He has given you a sound mind.

As you pray, making your requests known before God, He will answer you! Suddenly, you will see your anxiety being replaced with peace. When you praise God through your storm, you’ll find yourself thanking Him for your miracle before you even get it. And before you know it, you’ll see it being released.
