When you hear the phrase "wealth", do you automatically think of money? Most people do.

What if I told you that wealth is about a lot more than just money?

If applied, there are seven elements of wealth that will richly affect your life and the lives of those around you.

SPHERE 1: SPIRITUAL WEALTH

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?”

Mark 8:36 (NKJV)

This type of wealth emanates from the spirit. It has nothing to do with the natural world. You can be a billionaire in the natural world, but you are still impoverished if you lack spiritual wealth.

So how do I invest into my spiritual bank?

  • Prayer
  • Fasting
  • Giving
  • Worship
  • Studying of God’s Word

SPHERE 2: SOULICAL WEALTH

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

3 John 1:2 (NKJV)

Soulical wealth is a combination of both intellectual and emotional assets. Prosperity will come as your soul prospers. Your soul is made up of your emotions, will and intellect, which means that you will thrive to the extent that your soul prospers.

“Wealth starts in your soul!”

SPHERE 3: PHYSICAL WEALTH

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers

3 John 1:2 (NKJV)

You must take care of your physical body if you are to fulfil God’s calling on your life.  If you are burned out or sick, you will be of no value to the Kingdom.

When God gave Moses’ instructions concerning Israel, we saw how important it is to take care of your body. God provided them with a hygiene list and a diet, instructing them on what to eat and what not to.

Physical wealth is something that we must not neglect.

SPHERE 4: SOCIAL WEALTH

Both spiritually and physically, the company you keep will significantly impact your level of success. One wrong relationship can have the capacity to remove you from your divine assignment!

Every relationship is unique, and each one has a role and serves a purpose. You'll have to determine which of your connections are worth investing in.

“You are as wealthy as the company you keep!”

“The company you keep will determine what will accompany you.”

SPHERE 5: INFLUENTIAL WEALTH

God wants you to be healthy in your ability to affect change in the world, and the best way to do so is by making yourself valuable.  You must be able to make a difference in other people’s lives. You will learn to solve problems as you grow in Christ’s character. You produce influential wealth by solving other peoples' problems and meeting their needs.

“You will never be remembered for your possessions but for what you gave!”

SPHERE 6: GENERATIONAL WEALTH

A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.

Proverbs 13:22 (NKJV)

Regardless of how much money one has, an inwardly focused person is poor. According to Proverbs, if your grandchildren can benefit from what you're doing, you're wealthy. It is our responsibility to be generationally focused.

“Generational focus becomes generational wealth.”

SPHERE 7: IDEAS

In the world, there are three types of people. These three types of people have quite diverse attitudes regarding money.

  1. Poor people always think and talk about money. Their focus is on money.
  2. Rich people will always think and talk about things. They talk about what they have.
  3. Wealthy people think and talk about ideas. They talk about ideas.

We must realize that God desires for us to dwell in wealth. A man with brilliant ideas will always be wealthy. This is when you enter Kingdom thinking. The Kingdom of God is not built on money but ideas.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 1:1-3 &14 (KJV)

The word “Word” comes from the Greek word “Logos”, which means an “expressed speech” or “expressed idea”. So, John 1 actually reads; “In the beginning was God’s idea, and God’s idea was with God, and God’s idea was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by God’s idea, and God’s idea became flesh…”; Jesus Christ is the visible expression of God’s IDEA.

“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth…

Deuteronomy 8:18 (NKJV)

“God does not give wealth or money, but rather the ability to create it.”
